How We Make Money

Last updated: October 26, 2026

The Shopping Lens is free to read. We earn money from affiliate links, and sometimes from ads. This page explains how.

Amazon

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

If you click one of our links to Amazon and buy something, Amazon may pay us a commission. You pay the same price.

Other shops

We may also earn commissions from other shops and affiliate programs. If you buy through one of our links, that shop may pay us.

What the money does not change

No one can pay to be in our guides. The only exception is an article a brand pays for, which we label “Sponsored” at the top. Everywhere else, we decide what to cover and what to tell you to skip.

Our guides come from research, not hands-on testing. We read product details, compare prices and materials, and look at what buyers say.

Prices change

Prices and stock change often. The price on the shop’s site when you buy is the one that counts.

Cookies

Amazon and other shops we link to may use cookies to see that you came from us. Our Privacy Policy explains this, and you can choose your cookies at any time from “Cookie Settings” in the footer.
